HOW R.I.S.E. WORKS

The R.I.S.E. program gives high school students hands-on learning experiences to prepare them for professional success in sports marketing and media. The skills and experience they gain through the program strengthen high school athletic programs and offer unique skills to help students develop well-rounded experiences for college applications, resumes, and beyond.

The R.I.S.E. program is implemented through individual R.I.S.E. clubs within high schools. R.I.S.E. clubs are FREE to high schools and are supported through local sponsorships. Clubs meet weekly or monthly depending on individual schools. The R.I.S.E. team meets with clubs monthly and visits clubs quarterly to recap and evaluate the experience. Club membership entitles students to exclusive access to attend and cover local sporting events with the R.I.S.E. team.

MEDIA

Through the R.I.S.E. club, students learn how to produce videos, graphics, social media, and more. Student-created content is posted not only schoolwide, but also districtwide, providing a platform and exposure to help build strong portfolios and confident college applicants. Student content also helps strengthen high school athletic programs.

MARKETING

From ticket sales to sponsorship packages, it’s important for students to understand all the opportunities available in the sports marketing industry. Our program introduces students to these opportunities through networking events and site visits at premier sports venues. Students bring this knowledge to their schools to help improve the athletic experience for their community.

STATS

It’s all in the numbers! Stats and analytics are becoming an increasingly popular field of study for students and coaches. Our students, with the help of industry professionals, will learn how to collect, analyze, and report on stats for a variety of sports.
