Readiness In
Sport Education
a 501(c)3 Organization

The R.I.S.E. program gives high school
students hands-on learning experiences
to prepare them for professional success
in sports marketing and media.

At R.I.S.E. (Readiness In Sport Education, 501(c)(3)), we believe that sports have the power to change the world. We recognize that systemic inequities drive disparities and many youth are unable to pursue their employment dreams. Our mission is to fight for their equality. R.I.S.E. provides tuition-free learning opportunities and expert mentorship to high school students to prepare them for a career in sports marketing and media.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on support from donors, sponsors, and volunteers to
provide the R.I.S.E. program to all students at no cost and ensure a level playing field
where socioeconomic status is not a barrier to experience and opportunity.

There are many ways to help R.I.S.E. enhance educational opportunities for students interested
in working in the sports industry and provide economic mobility to under-resourced students.

“Donating to R.I.S.E. meant that I was giving directly back to high school students
about learning new skills.
Skills that create a bright future for them.
I only wish this program
existed when I was in High School!”
-A. Monin, Co-Founder / CEO

our students will be paramount in their development. To be able to have hands on and portfolio
building ability at this stage in their life is awesome.”

“Sports media is a field that has so much range and so many opportunities to connect the spectators to the sport. As Athletic Directors, we try to take advantage of that range and opportunities at the Education-based Athletics level. At Mallard Creek High school, we are always seeking functional opportunities to connect with our students, student-athletes, and other stakeholders so we’ve found awesome benefits through our partnership with the R.IS.E. program as it fits our distinguished mission.”

“The R.I.S.E. program has taught me so much about the broadcasting and sports
industry, and has helped me learn what I want to do in the future. I encourage any student
interested in the realm of sports to join and see the amazing things R.I.S.E. has to offer.”

“I would like to thank you guys for all the learning opportunities that you have given me over the past year.
They have truly helped me make my decision for college. I lastly wanted to thank you guys for believing in me.
And out of everything this part was one of the ones that meant the world to me.”
